Atlanta Event Photography: Crush Fest

Yonah Mountain Vineyards had a huge festival over the weekend in celebration of their first harvest and asked me to help document it! How could I pass that up?! It was a gorgeous fall “like” day, happy folks everywhere, wine tasting, grape stomping, food, music, vineyard tours, you name it!! It was awesome and I was honored to be there capture it all. This vineyard is amazing, and their wine is top notch you should totally check it out if you have not already!

These two were the perfect mix of fun and romance, a wonderful combination for engagement photography. Not only are they a super fun and beautiful couple, but they are friends of mine. Amy and I went to college together and were roomies for a time here in Atlanta. So you can imagine how excited and honored I was when they asked me to do some engagement pics for them. She had the great idea to use the High Museum (where they had their first date), and Freedom Park (the place where they actually got engaged) as their shoot locations. Brilliant and meaningful, I loved it!!

Here is one of my favs, I just love the reflection on the building behind them……

Here they are breakin’ it down for me! (I LOVE Joe’s face in these, he’s hilarious!)

Joe thought it would be funny to do some 80′s posing as a joke, and it made for a really cute and funny little series……..

Amy really loves that vintage feel in a photograph, like in the dancing series above and these to follow. This next image is so romantic to me, it helps knowing that this is the spot where Joe proposed. Tear!!!

I was super excited to meet this gorgeous little newborn baby girl because she belongs to a friend of mine!!! They just recently moved back to Atlanta, and just in knick of time too, because not long after little sweet pea was born!!! It was so wonderful to catch up with my friend and gush over her itty bitty baby! She is such a beauty already and a little angel. I’m so very happy for you guys!!!! This family is GORGEOUS!!!! And I loved the fun mix of purple running through all of their outfits, so cute and fresh!! It is always nice to get to meet and work with a new family, this beautiful bunch was no exception. And this little sweet pea of a baby girl, my goodness, not a peep from her other than precious little coos and gurgles. She was an absolute angel and just a doll baby, you boys better watch out this one is gonna be a stunner!!! Here is a peek into our session from the weekend…..

Aside from the insane humidity and mist in the air, which made for an AWESOME hair day by the way, this session was a BLAST! Big brother is quite the fisherman and would periodically ask if anyone was hungry, because if we were he would just run over to the lake with his fishing pole and catch us some fish to eat! He was so adorable and funny!!! We played in the wagon, with bouncy balls, fishing rods and baby brother even had some time in his birthday suit!! We got some seriously cute photos, can’t wait for you guys to see, here a just a few! Check out this smiley little sweet pea……..

Look out folks, there’s a new sheriff in town!!!!
